WELCOME to Quilts in the Gardens, a special exhibition of the Halton Quilters’ Guild. The exhibition takes place on April 25-26, 2009 at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. The Show Hours are 10am – 6pm on Saturday and 10am – 5pm on Sunday.

Opening Ceremony, April 24, 2009

THIS year’s show is better – and much bigger – than ever! We will showcase 200 quilts by members of the Halton Quilters’s Guild. The beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens have recently opened a new wing, which will house a special exhibit called "The Best of Ontario," made up of quilts from other Ontario guilds.

THERE will be a wide variety of workshops and we would suggest you register as soon as possible.

VENDORS will have their displays throughout the facility. Please see more info at the bottom of the Vendors page.

A SPECIAL demonstration area in the main foyer will showcase tips, techniques, and products for quilting. Demonstrations will be held every hour during the two days of the show. There will be a special exhibit of long arm quilting with several machines at work.

THERE is plenty of free parking available. In addition to its regular restaurant which will be open during the show, the RBG will also open a special Cafeteria. If you plan to spend two days at the show, Quality Hotel Burlington will be offering Special Rates!

ADMISSION is $6.00 per person and tickets are available at the door and at fine quilt shops throughout Ontario.

IF YOU wish to organize a group to attend the Quilts in the Gardens, a motor coach can be arranged. For smaller groups, pick-up points can be set up to bring groups together.
